We are committed to ensuring that children and teens throughout our community can access meaningful and enriching Jewish programs. Together with our partners, we are working to remove financial barriers by investing in scholarships for a variety of programs.

Affordability Options

UJA Community Scholarships Portal

This one-stop portal is a secure platform for scholarship applications for many Jewish experiences in the GTA—both UJA-funded and non-funded. Use the portal to submit applications to be reviewed by your program of choice. Please ensure you are registered with your program of choice before you apply for a scholarship on the portal.

Jewish Free Loan Toronto

UJA’s partner Jewish Free Loan Toronto offers interest-free loans to Jewish families looking to access Jewish experience programs, including day schools, summer camps, and trips to Israel. They have a minimal application process, with no guarantors required for UJA-affiliated programs. Learn more on the Jewish Free Loan Toronto website.

Scholarships are available for a diverse array of programs through the UJA Community Scholarships Portal.

How to Apply:

STEP 1: Select your program of choice.

STEP 2: Apply to your program and inquire about available scholarships.

STEP 3: Apply through the UJA Community Scholarships Portal.

STEP 4: Your program of choice will be in touch with you directly regarding scholarship approval, payment methods, and registration.

Jewish Day Schools

Approximately one in three students enrolled in UJA’s funded day schools currently benefit from Day School Scholarships, which help lower day school tuition for families in Jewish Toronto. Learn more about how to apply on the Day School Scholarships website.

Part-Time Jewish Education Programs

UJA supports a multitude of diverse part-time Jewish education programs throughout the GTA, including investing in tuition assistance to ensure children and teens can experience a meaningful, high-quality Jewish education. Jewish Summer Camp

Jewish summer camp can have a lifelong impact for community members. UJA invests in programs to provide more children and teens with the opportunity to experience the magic of camp. Needs-based scholarships are funded by UJA in partnership with our Jewish summer camps and delivered through each camp. Reach out to your camp of choice to learn what scholarships are available.

Sports Programs
