DO YOU NEED SUPPORT?

Short-Term Support from Experienced Professionals

The reality of what is happening in Israel is horrific. Taking in the news and reports from family and friends can be difficult, upsetting, and traumatic.

Our community is strong, but all of us are human. And we are all hurting right now. You do not have to struggle alone with feelings of fear, anger, anxiety, confusion, and sadness. We are here to support you.

UJA Federation has gathered experienced mental health volunteers to provide short-term support through this overwhelming and challenging time. Complete the form below, and we will do our best to have someone contact you as soon as possible. All information will be kept completely confidential. Individuals in crisis should call a crisis line.

Support for Israelis in the Greater Toronto Area

We are working with our partner Jewish Immigrant Aid Services (JIAS) Toronto to help the significant number of Israelis – including children and seniors – who have come to the GTA on a temporary basis during this crisis. JIAS and UJA are together assessing needs on an individual basis and providing access to a range of supports, such as help with childcare, schooling, programs for seniors, short-term accommodations, and mental health supports.

If you know Israelis who are temporarily sheltering in our community, please click here to request assistance.
