The Toronto Cheder General Studies Department has positions available for the upcoming school year.

General Studies Teachers Positions

The Toronto Cheder (TTC) is looking for dynamic and engaging teachers to join our TTC Family. This is a part time position, Monday through Thursday.

There are positions available in the following departments:

  • Pre1A/SK (1:00-3:15)
  • Elementary (1:45 – 4:45)
  • Middle School (2:15 – 5:20)
  • Learning Support (1:45 – 4:30 and 1:45 – 5:20)

It is beneficial for applicants to have a B.Ed. or higher, and to be familiar with the current Ontario ministry guidelines. Teaching experience is an asset. Attractive salary, wonderful working environment. 

Teaching Assistant Positions

The Toronto Cheder (TTC) is looking for energetic, organized and dedicated individuals to join our Cheder Family. Teaching assistants are an important part of our team, as they help ensure classrooms run efficiently.

We are looking for afternoon teaching assistants for Pre1A – Grade 2 at our North (475 Patricia Ave) campus.

Librarian

Our school librarian is responsible for running the library smoothly and efficiently, checking in and out books for the students, etc. This is an afternoon position, Monday – Thursday.

General Studies Secretary Position

The Toronto Cheder (TTC) is looking for an extremely capable and organized person for the upcoming school year. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 9:30am – 5:30pm. Ideally, applicants should be available to begin training in June.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proficiency with computer programs
  • Scheduling meetings and school events
  • Facilitating the distribution and editing of report cards
  • Organizing files and records
  • Editing and formatting correspondence, memos, and reports
  •  Answering and directing phone calls and emails

Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.
