Camp Dates: July 6 – July 24, 2026

Chai Lifeline Canada is looking for enthusiastic Counselors for Chai Lifeline Canada’s summer camp: Camp Lifeline!

Camp Lifeline is designed to give children suffering from lifelong/chronic illness, as well as children whose family members are suffering from illness, a chance to enjoy an exciting summer day camp experience without feeling any limitations.

When a parent or sibling is diagnosed and living with illness, the entire family dynamic shifts. Camp Lifeline ensures children who are suffering with medical complexities as well as siblings and children of those suffering from serious illness are given the opportunity to enjoy a unique camp experience. Camp is filled with play, laughter and a supportive environment tailored specifically for their needs.  Being a camp counselor is an incredible opportunity to create great memories with truly amazing children.

This year, we are offering campers the opportunity to enjoy some of the amazing attractions in the GTA though our brand new Trip Camp!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a fun and enjoyable experience for campers
  • Pre-camp and orientation
  • Accompany campers on excursions focusing on safety and well being while providing a fun and engaging camp experience
  • Brainstorm and run activities 
  • Help set up/clean up daily
  • Inform campers on daily routines and camp rules
  • Supervise campers and ensure safety and well being
  • Facilitate camp activities and programs
  • Participating in staff meetings 

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Bring energy and positivity to add ruach and camp spirit!
  • Must be patient, enthusiastic and flexible 
  • Must like working with children 
  • Must have a good work ethic
