Long before the state of Israel was ever established United Jewish Appeal and the Jewish community in Toronto was working towards its creation, sharing an unbreakable bond with the land and its people. As Israel celebrates its 70th birthday, UJA celebrates our collaborative work with municipalities, private foundations, philanthropists and government organizations to create solution based strategies to make real change in the country. UJA’s Walk with Israel has been an anchor in our community for 49 years and there’s lots of exciting activities in store for this year.
