World Interfaith Harmony Week
This Sunday at 2pm, MOSAIC Interfaith will sponsor a discussion with “The Three Amigos”: Rabbi Michael Stroh, Dr. Liakat Takim, and Canon John Hill about Interfaith Dialogue. In these days of rising antisemitism and Islamophobia, learning to dialogue with other people of faith and learning about them is one of the most effective ways to dispel myths and ignorance about people whose culture and religion are different. It is hard to hate someone you know and understand. Finding out what commonalities you share creates allies and friendships that bridge differences.

The Three Amigos have been officially dialoguing and teaching together for thirteen years, but Rabbi Stroh and Dr. Takim have been working together for decades, as Dr. Takim was the Imam of Jaffari Islamic Centre, our old next-door neighbours. We hope you will join us on Sunday for a panel moderated by Dr. Karen Mock and Rabbi Cory Weiss.
