Attention, Toronto cantors!

We’re gauging interest in a fun community project: recording an original song about Jewish Toronto to launch registration for UJA’s 2027 Walk with Israel.

The song hasn’t been written yet, but it is being commission now and our vision is to bring interested cantors together in a studio to record it. The style will be uplifting and catchy.

We haven’t set a recording date yet, but we’re hoping to record either in late December, before winter break, or in early January, depending on how the project takes shape.  The recording will take place in person.

The song recording will then be the theme song for a music video featuring Toronto Jewish organizations. We hope to include footage from the studio recording, in the video.

It’s a unique opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate the vibrant, strong Jewish community we share. If you’d be interested in volunteering, please fill out the form below.

We’d love to hear from you!
