Letter from UJA Federation Leadership

As Jewish Toronto continues to grow and flourish, it is vital that we acknowledge the efforts of the volunteers who contribute each and every day to our community.

In the pages that follow, you will learn about some of Jewish Toronto’s most altruistic and passionate members, all of whom give of their time and use their unique talents to help UJA Federation in supporting our most vulnerable, advocating for Israel, and promoting Jewish education and identity.

A community as wonderful and united as Jewish Toronto doesn’t simply “happen”. It is through the efforts of these unique individuals who work to ensure that our community maintains its position as one of the strongest in the Diaspora, providing our children – the future leaders of our community – with the necessary tools to live full and proud Jewish lives.

We hope that you enjoy this volunteer supplement and that by reading its stories you too will be inspired to join the ranks of the volunteers who day after day, year after year, add so much to the fabric of our wonderful community.
