Application for 19+ Social Lounge Committee

 

UJA is forming a 19+ Social Lounge Committee for the Walk with Israel, bringing together young adults in their 20s and 30s to help create a vibrant, fun, and welcoming space for our community at the Walk Festival. Committee members will help recruit a team of peers, promote the Walk and Social Lounge, and support in-kind sponsorships that elevate the experience. This is a fun, meaningful opportunity to rally your network, build leadership skills, and be part of one of UJA’s most powerful moments of community and solidarity. A short application is required.

 

Key Responsibilities & Commitment:

  • Attend 3 committee meetings between now and the Walk (mix of in-person and Zoom) – dates will be selected based on majority of committee availability
  • Recruit and lead a Walk team of approximately 15–20 peers
  • Serve as an ambassador by promoting the Walk and 19+ Social Lounge within your networks and on social media
  • Support in-kind sponsorship outreach by making introductions or sharing relevant connections
  • Bring energy and leadership to help create a fun, welcoming Social Lounge at the Walk Festival

Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2026. Please note that selections will be made and successful applicants will be notified in the first week of February.
