Toronto Police Service (TPS) is increasing both its visible and covert presence in Jewish neighbourhoods during the High Holidays and into commemorations of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks in Israel.

During his remarks, Toronto's Chief of Police Myron Demkiw highlighted the close and ongoing collaboration between Toronto police and Jewish Security Network (JSN) to protect Jewish neighbourhoods and communities. Read more…

In response, Adam Minsky, president and CEO of UJA, said, in part, "through close, real-time co-ordination with law enforcement, the Jewish Security Network, with the support of UJA, is committed to ensuring that Jewish life in Toronto remains strong, proud, and secure for generations to come."
