Today marks three years since October 7th.
The memory of those we lost, and of everything that changed that day, remains deeply with us. This year, however, we also mark October 7th knowing that all the hostages have finally returned home. There is enormous relief in that, even as we continue to hold close the families and communities who have carried such profound loss.
There is no simple way to hold all our emotions at once.
We remember. We grieve. And we also recognize the strength, resolve, and sense of responsibility that have carried Israelis and Jewish communities forward over the past three years.
That is what we wanted to reflect on in this special edition.
Whether you mark today together with community or in your own quiet way, I hope you find comfort in knowing that we remember together—and that we remain committed to what comes next.
May the memories of those taken too soon be for a blessing.
