Jewish Athletes Shine at the 2026 Winter Olympics

Jewish athletes made their mark at the 2026 Winter Olympics, earning medals and showcasing talent across multiple sports. In men’s hockey, a gold-medal moment had a special Toronto connection: Jack Hughes scored the game-winning goal alongside his brother Quinn. Jack, Quinn, and their younger brother Luke, all play in the NHL and spent nearly a decade growing up in Toronto while their father worked for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. From the rink to the slopes, Jewish athletes highlighted the strength, skill, and growing influence of Jewish competitors on the world’s biggest winter sporting stage.
