Packing It Forward: Passover (previously known as Passover Packing) will be a meaningful day of supporting community members experiencing food insecurity. With the support of volunteers like you, we will pack and deliver 1,200 food boxes to families in need.

After each shift, there will be coffee and treats with Rabbi Rafi Lipner, as he leads a session called “Your Goal & Role at the Seder.” This optional gathering will be a wonderful opportunity to engage with fellow volunteers in a meaningful Passover conversation.

Important details to note before you register:

  • Age information. Volunteer slots are reserved for adults and children aged 12+.

    • Those between ages 12 and 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

    • There is an option to register your kids (ages 4 – 11) for Packing Pals. Taking place at the same time as your shift, these young volunteers will participate in a kid-friendly packing activity. Spots per shift are limited.

  • Volunteer hours. High school students looking for volunteer hours for their participation must bring their school’s official form on the day of the event.

Location: Sherman Campus, Lipa Green Centre, 4600 Bathurst Street.
