Discover Toronto's Chinese and Jewish Past & Present

Inspired by  A Place for Wholesome Amusement, the UJA's Ontario Jewish Archives, Blankenstein Family Heritage Centre, and FENTSTER team up to present a special walking tour featuring Toronto's leading historian on Chinatown and experienced tour guide, Arlene Chan, and the OJA's Stories of Spadina guide and Yiddish expert Miriam Borden.

Both will share insights into the intersecting Jewish and Chinese histories of Kensington Market and the Spadina area with a special focus on the Standard/Victory Theatre, the subject of the current exhibition. Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore the layered immigrant histories of one of Toronto's most vibrant neighbourhoods.

Walk Dates: Sunday April 29 & Sunday, May 13 @ 11am

Start Point: Fentster Gallery, 402 College St.
