UJA Next Gen

YOUR FIRST STEP INTO LEADERSHIP

The Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) is an international network for emerging Jewish philanthropists (ages 40 and under) who donate $1,000 or more to their Federation’s Annual Campaign. Inspired by the legacy of David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, BGS members embody his legacy of using their passion and resources to build a stronger Jewish community for generations to come.

Some BGS donor benefits include:

  • Exclusive receptions and events

  • An invitation to UJA’s Major Gifts Signature Event

  • Early access for select events and waitlist priority

  • Identification for leadership positions, such as committees or ambassadorships

  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities

  • Shabbat dinners and curated social gatherings

  • Timely insider updates on UJA’s work and impact

For a minimum gift of $1,000 (or $84/month) you will:

  • Provide 2–3 hours of PSW services to an ill or immobile senior community member

  • Give a young adult the opportunity to attend a weekly mental wellness group

  • Supply an isolated senior with three months' worth of Kosher Meals on Wheels packages

“It was an easy decision for us. For a few extra dollars a month, the difference we could make in the community was incredible. Plus, the events we now attend with speakers like Hillel Neuer and Ben Freeman, and networking opportunities with like-minded peers, have made this next step truly worth it.”
