UJA's Centennial Journey to Israel - Day 1

Greetings from Israel! UJA's Centennial Mission has finally touched down in the Holy Land, after months of planning and anticipation. This trip is already one to remember. Our participants enjoyed their first day in Tel Aviv, including tours of Sarona Market (Israel's largest indoor culinary market), Neve Tzedek (the first Jewish neighbourhood built outside the port city of Jaffa) and the Old City of Jaffa itself.  Later, our guests were treated to an Israeli-style welcome dinner. A trip like this only happens every 100 years, and our participants are excited for the adventures to continue, as well as the opportunity to witness UJA’s impact in Israel, thanks to your generous donations.
