With the new school year well underway, the Campus Ready initiative presented by Makom, an initiative of The Jewish Agency for Israel, held the first events of their 2025-26 Campus Ready tour, in partnership with UJA Israel Engagement and UJA's Julia & Henry Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education. Campus Ready is designed to help prepare students for the campus environment and to help educators confront and combat antisemitism in their classrooms.
Last week, the team welcomed 300 students from across the GTA, in addition to 145 educators and administrators, and 12 parents, to its first eight events of the year. With five more events already planned for later in the year, and more to be scheduled, Campus Ready is helping to ensure Jewish students in Toronto are equipped to be confident advocates for Israel and Jewish identity in the face of unprecedented levels of antisemitism on university campuses.
