Campus Ready in Toronto UJA Israel Engagement was proud to host Campus Ready, presented by Makom, an initiative of The Jewish Agency For Israel. This important program offers parents, students, and Jewish professionals practical workshops to help prepare high school students to navigate today’s challenging campus environment.

 

It was a jam-packed week, as Campus Ready engaged hundreds through a series of events and seminars—including Jewish students and parents throughout the city, a young professionals’ night out, and professional development for Jewish community professionals and educators in public and private schools.

 

The curriculum offered a strong foundation on Israel, Jewish identity, and contemporary campus discourse, as well as tools to navigate challenging discussions. Best of all, participants gained a supportive network of peers and mentors, a resource they can continue to draw on in difficult situations.
