A message from Adam Minsky

As the President & CEO of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, I, along with our entire organization, join Jews and all those who abhor terrorism across the globe, as we continue to grieve in the wake of the heinous terror attack that claimed the lives of four young Israelis in Jerusalem this past Sunday.

Together we remember 20-year-old Lt. Yael Yekutiel z’l of Givatayim; 22-year-old cadet Shir Hajaj z’l of Ma'aleh Adumim; 20-year-old Cadet Shira Tzur z’l of Haifa; and 20-year-old Cadet Erez Orbach z’l of Alon Shvut. May their memories be for a blessing.

Our hearts are with the victims of this tragedy, and with the family members who, in a matter of just hours, had their lives changed forever.

We wish a refuah shlema – a full and speedy recovery – to the 17 others injured in this senseless attack.

On behalf of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, our prayers are with the people of Israel while we call on all people of good conscience to join us in condemning this attack.

Adam Minsky,
CEO of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto
