School Task Force

The last few weeks have been tremendously difficult for Israeli and Jewish communities here in Toronto—including Jewish students in schools throughout the city.

To prioritize the mental health and well-being of Jewish students during this time, UJA Israel Engagement has created a School Task Force aimed at creating safe spaces for dialogue on school campuses.

Run by trained UJA professionals, the School Task Force provides free workshops for all schools, student groups, youth groups, and program alumni. These workshops help facilitate conversations between peers and offer guided support so students can safely express themselves, share their feelings, and feel empowered and proud to be Jewish.

As we launch the School Task Force, we invite you, March of the Living alumni, to attend our first (pilot) workshop. Please join us on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in Tamari Hall, located in the Lipa Green Centre on UJA’s Sherman Campus.
