How and When to Discuss the Holocaust with your Children

More than 80 years after the Holocaust and many are still struggling to find ways to teach and talk about the most well-documented event in human history. Parents are no exception and often find it difficult to know the right time and the right way to bring up the Holocaust with their children.

How do we decide when to talk about the Holocaust with children? How can we even begin to explain one of the most unprecedented, tragic events in human history to the younger generation? What do children gain from learning about the Holocaust at such a young age? Are there age-appropriate books that can help guide their understanding?

Unpack all of this and more with  PJ Library  and the  Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre  during this exclusive Holocaust Education Week 2021 Workshop.

Facilitated by Michelle Fishman, Education, Outreach & Communications Manager at the Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre.

Please note that this program is for parents with children aged 10-14 years.

This program is free to attend, however, spots are limited – please register to secure your spot!
