KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Chen Almog, Nova Festival Survivor

Born and raised in Israel, Chen Almog is 24 years old and currently lives in New York City. She was in attendance at the Nova Music Festival when it was attacked on October 7, 2023. Chen now shares her story whenever she has the opportunity, so that she can "honour the angels no longer with us."

Nadav Zysblat, Consul General of Israel

Serving as the Consul General of Israel to Toronto and Western Canada, Nadav Zysblat is an Israeli diplomat with extensive experience in international relations, public policy, and strategic government affairs.

Previously, Nadav served as the director of the Department of Consulates in the U.S., overseeing Israel’s eight consulates across the United States. He also served as a political advisor at the Embassy of Israel in Washington D.C., where he managed relations with U.S. government agencies on a broad range of diplomatic and strategic issues. Prior to that, he served as a political advisor to the director general of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supporting senior leadership on key foreign policy matters and interagency co-ordination.

Nadav holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is currently completing a master’s degree in Multicultural Judaic Studies at Ono Academic College, with a particular interest in Jewish identity, history, and contemporary Israeli society.

Nadav is married to his wife, Ateret, and together they are the proud parents of five children.
