DAY 1 – TUESDAY, SEPEMBER 13, 2022

MORNING - DEPART TORONTO FOR NEW YORK CITY

Start the day early with a morning flight from Toronto to New York City. Suggested Flight: Air Canada, departing Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) at 8:00 AM, arrive at New York LaGuardia (LGA) at 9:30 AM.

10:00 AM – ARRIVE IN NEW YORK CITY & CHECK-IN TO HOTEL

HOTEL: LOEWS REGENCY NEW YORK (540 Park Avenue, at 61st Street, New York, NY, 10065). Upon arrival in New York, we will take private transport to our hotel – the Loews Regency – where we will quickly check in and freshen up before we start our day in the city.

12:30 PM – LUNCHTIME MEETING WITH JEFFREY KESWIN, Founder and Managing Partner of Lyrical Ventures and Asset Management

We will kick off our trip meeting with Jeffrey Kewsin, Chairman and Founder of Lyrical Partners and Lyrical Asset Management, with lunch at his office (250 West 55th Street), followed by an insiders’ tour of their award-winning office space and private art collection. Jeffrey is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer, and Managing Partner of Lyrical Partners which invests in and manages private equity, real estate, traditional equity, and hedge funds. An entrepreneur from Minnesota, Jeff has a passion for investing in and engaging with uncommon management teams and has hatched a creative collection of businesses that have scaled substantially.

2:00 PM – MEETING WITH ANTON LEVY, Co-President, Managing Director, and Global Head of General Atlantic’s Technology sector

After lunch, we will head to General Atlantic’s Park Avenue headquarters (Park Avenue Plaza, 55 East 52nd Street) to meet with Anton Levy, Co-President and Global Head of GA’s technology sector. Anton has led General Atlantic’s investments in leading technology companies such as Alibaba, CrowdStrike, Facebook, Slack and Snapchat and co-led investments in Adyen and Bytedance. Anton has been named to the Forbes Midas List of top investors each year from 2014 to 2022.

3:30 PM - PRIVATE NASDAQ TOUR

This afternoon we will be treated to a very exclusive, white glove, experience and behind the scenes tour at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. Witness and participate in the iconic “ringing of the bell closing ceremony” at Nasdaq Market Site and take pictures at the podium. There will be an opportunity to showcase your own company and take pictures with personal corporate logos in front of a global audience on digital screens in Times Square. After the ceremony there will be a boardroom roundtable meeting with NASDAQ’s President, Nelson Griggs and Chief Client Officer, Joseph Brantuk followed by cocktails on the private outdoor 10th floor terrace of the Nasdaq building.

5:30 PM – RETURN TO HOTEL TO REST AND REFRESH

Enjoy some time before dinner tonight to rest and freshen up at our hotel – Loews Regency.

7:00 PM – COCKTAIL RECEPTION AT JACOB MULLER’S

Tonight, we will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with UJA Federation of New York’s top philanthropists and industry tycoons, hosted in the home of Jacob Muller, Partner at TPG Real Estate.

DAY 2 – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022

9:00 AM –BREAKFAST AT BOX GROUP WITH DAVID TISCH, Co-founder & Managing Partner of BoxGroup, Co-founder of TechStars

Today, we will start our morning with breakfast at the Box Group office with David Tisch, Managing Partner of BoxGroup. Box Group is a NYC-based seed stage venture capital firm that has invested in over 500 seed-stage startups. David is also the Chairman of GoodDog, a marketplace to find pets online, co-founder of TechStars NYC, and serves on the board of Friends of Hudson River Park.

11:30 AM - MEETING WITH DANA GIBBER, Co-Founder of Flow Carbon

For lunch, we will meet with Dana Gibber, a co-founder of Flow Carbon, along with Caroline Klatt and Adam and Rebekah Neumann. Enjoy a private tour of their innovate downtown office space and learn more about this unique and forward-thinking start-up. Flow Carbon’s goal is to use Web3 – a newer version of the world wide web that incorporates cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies and NFTs – to make the voluntary carbon market as accessible as possible, to preserve the earth's natural carbon sinks.

1:30 PM – LUNCH MEETING

LATE AFTERNOON – DEPART NEW YORK AND RETURN TO TORONTO

After our afternoon meeting, we will say goodbye to New York and head to the airport for our evening flight home.
