“Inside Jewish Day Schools” Book Launch and Celebration of Day Schools with Alex Pomson

We are delighted to invite you to join UJA’s Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education, the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto, and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation for an in-person reception, celebrating your generous commitment to Jewish education. Following the reception, you are invited to attend the launch of Alex Pomson’s book “Inside Jewish Day School”, where he will give a keynote address.

The LIFE & LEGACY® program supports the future vitality of our community by ensuring that the high levels of Jewish pride and knowledge that make Jewish Toronto exceptional will continue for generations to come. 

Alex Pomson serves as Managing Director of Rosov Consulting and leads the team at Rosov Consulting Israel. He was founding Head of Jewish Studies at the King Solomon High School and was Koschitzky Family Chair in Jewish Teacher Education at York University, Toronto, where he coordinated York’s Jewish Teacher Education Programme. He was a Senior Researcher at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University. He is author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and is co-author of Back to school: Jewish day school in the lives of adult Jews and the recently published Jewish family: Identity and self-formation at home. He is co-editor of the International handbook of Jewish education.
