Israel Education Booster

In times of crisis, stability, and uncertainty, it is important that we are prepared to teach and talk about the complex realities of Israel. It is critical to understand how to contextualize modern-day Israel issues and create authentic learning experiences for students.

Tamara Rebick from UJA Israel Engagement, in partnership with Deborah Peretz from IsraelLINK, will be hosting an in-person Israel Education Booster geared towards teachers and educators in Jewish institutions in the GTA. This professional development workshop will be a refresher course focused on contemporary Israel education, building on previous sessions run by UJA Israel Engagement and IsraelLINK.

Participants will leave the workshop with the knowledge and necessary tools to better integrate how Israel is taught in educational settings, creating an elevated and comprehensive learning experience for students, and grounding them in a deeper connection to Israel and their Jewish identity.
