This workshop offers a comprehensive overview of the granting landscape across Toronto, Ontario and Canada to ensure artists are equipped with the tools necessary to navigate opportunities with greater confidence. Participants will learn about:

  • The broad variety of grants available for artists;
  • What is necessary (or helpful) before applying for a grant;
  • Key components of an application (narratives, budgets, samples, etc.);
  • Successful strategies;
  • Common pitfalls to avoid; and,
  • What to do whether your application is successful or not.

This workshop will include hands-on writing activities that will inspire your first, or next, application!

This workshop is ideal for artists, creatives, and cultural workers. Plus, we’ll be setting some time aside for schmoozing so you can connect with fellow Jewish creatives.

Light refreshments will be served. Kashrut observed.
