A standing committee of UJA Federation and its mission is to preserve and foster the growth of the Yiddish language and culture as a central and vital element of Jewish life.

The Committee organizes Yiddish education at the elementary and high school level, and supports post-secondary classes at the University of Toronto and York University. The Committee also organizes its own activities and partners in a number of cultural and arts activities such as Ashkenaz, Annual Summer Concert, Book Fair and several others.
