Interdisciplinary program at Toronto's oldest university.
Jewish Studies is a multi-disciplinary program which combines courses from over 20 departments at the University of Toronto. It offers over 90 courses in languages, literatures, religions, history, archeology, philosophy, sociology and civilization from antiquity to the present. The Program is concentrated with the Jewish experience as it has moved in time and place from the ancient land of Israel, to the many countries of the Jews' dispersion, to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and to contemporary Judaism.
