DISCOVER THE ELLA VALLEY SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE EDITION WINE HONOURING THE HISTORIC RELOCATION OF THE U.S. EMBASSY IN JERUSALEM

The Ella Valley region is famous as the site of the battle between David and Goliath—and famous for its wines. Established in 1998, Ella Valley Winery restored a centuries-old wine culture amid the unique terroir of Jerusalem. This commemorative wine was created at the request of the Orthodox Union for serving at the embassy reopening event, featuring the secular and Hebrew dates, along with the Israeli and American flags. “We decided to have a special wine at the event because in Judaism, wine is what elevates,” said Rabbi Avi Berman, Executive Director of Orthodox Union Israel.

“Ella Valley is where the Jewish Kingdom in Jerusalem started. We wanted to bring some of that glory that King David was so passionate to bring.”
