UJA | We Got Your Back: Backpack Drive

9:00AM - 8:00PM  

As the school year approaches, let’s show students that we got their backs!

 

Join UJA with our We Got Your Back school supply drive, an annual initiative to help vulnerable students in our community head back to school with all the essentials.

 

HOW TO HELP:

1. Register to purchase back-to-school items.

Please remember that the backpacks are for children of all ages, including teenagers.

 

2. Choose one or more of the kits outlined and start shopping.

KIT 1: READY TO GO

1 Backpack

1 Binder

KIT 2: READY FOR LUNCH

1 Lunch box

1 Water bottle

3-4 Non-perishable, nut-free, Kosher snacks

KIT 3: READY TO WRITE

1 Pencil case

1 Package of pens and/or pencils

1 Package of markers or pencil crayons

3. Pack up all your items and bring them to your selected drop-off location during your chosen dates. All completed backpacks will be shared with families in need throughout the GTA via UJA’s partner agencies.

 

DROP-OFF INFORMATION:

·        From Tuesday, July 29 to Thursday, July 31, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

·        From Tuesday, August 12 to Thursday, August 14, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

 

Drop-off locations are situated throughout the GTA.

Please choose your preferred location upon registering.

 

Please note: If you are unable to drop off supplies on the designated dates but would still like to participate, please contact Magdalena at [email protected].

 

By registering and telling us what kit(s) you’re committing to, it helps us determine how many backpacks we can provide and how close we are to meeting our goal of 400+ completed backpacks.
