Start Date: Monday, January 26, 2026

Salary:  $70 - 75,000, commensurate with experience   

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position: Full-Time

Looking to make a meaningful difference in the Toronto arts scene and beyond, and working collaboratively with the General Director, the Board of Directors, the Director of External Relations, as well as other staff and volunteers, the Senior Manager of Development is responsible for designing and implementing Koffler Arts fundraising and donor stewardship strategies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

●      Developing and implementing fundraising strategies and tools for Koffler Arts

●      Working hand-in-hand with Board members on executing the annual campaign and all other fundraising campaigns throughout the year

●      Designing and implementing corporate, foundation, and private donation strategies

  • Managing and growing donor relationships, including solicitation of new donors and volunteers

●      Creating and disseminating fundraising material, both printed  and digital

●      Data gathering and management for all donors

●      Stewardship of major donors, individual and corporate

●      Coordination with the grant-writing activities for government and foundation support and maintaining reporting requirements for grants

●      Participating in strategic thinking related to programming

●      Working with accounting to effectively manage cash flow, tax documentation and other key financial matters related to donor contributions

●      Maintaining clear calendar, database, CRM and budgets regarding all aspects of development and fundraising including strategic metrics and analysis

Qualifications:  

●      The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similarly senior role within an arts organization, or successful not-for-profit enterprise

  • Strong corporate network and expertise in the Toronto philanthropic arts community

●      The capacity to work in a small team with wide-ranging responsibilities, including managing multiple projects concurrently

●   Experience in donor relations and management, including with Boards and major donors

●      A well-honed practice of financial and data management

●      Experience in event management for key fundraising events

●      An excellent command of English, written and oral

●  A strong desire to help an adventuresome arts organization grow nationally and internationally
