Office Administrator (4 days per week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative functions including, but not limited to, answering phones, managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining filing systems, ordering office supplies when needed and other duties when required.
- Maintain a flexible, pleasant, professional, and outgoing demeanour.
- Respond to member and donor requests and queries and forward messages to the appropriate person when required.
- Complete donation and card payment forms, and mail cards out in a timely manner.
- Prepare bank deposit summaries and process credit card payments.
- Build successful, positive relationships with all Executive and Council Members and Volunteers of Na’amat Canada Toronto.
- Assist with event preparation when required.
- Attend monthly Council meetings when requested.
- Maintain and manage DonorPerfect database.
- Prepare e-blasts in Constant Contact.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience, with minimum 3 years of successful experience in a small office environment.
- Works independently and is self-motivated, while fostering a team atmosphere.
- Excels in creative problem solving, time management, and multi-tasking.
- Organized and able to prioritize effectively, completing work within expected timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Completes and maintains records accurately and completely.
- Maintains good workplace housekeeping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Suite; excellent computer and office application skills; knowledge of Canva and Constant Contact an asset; ability to quickly learn new software; knowledge of Donor Perfect or similar software an asset; database experience required.
- Passion for charitable work is essential, and not for profit experience is a plus.
Position Reports To:
Development Director, Na’amat Canada Toronto, with accountability to the Executive Vice President, Na’amat Canada and the President and Council Executive, Na’amat Canada Toronto
