Middle School Teacher

Shmuel Zahavy Cheder Chabad in Thornhill is currently seeking the following teaching positions for the 2026-2027 school year:

• Grade 7 & 8 Middle School Teacher Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00 pm. Option to add Fridays 12:00-1:30pm - 1 position available.
• This position is ideal for teachers who teach full time during the day as timing works for after public school classes.

We are seeking an exciting, capable teacher to lead our Grade 7 and 8 students in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. ldeal candidates will have strong interpersonal and classroom management skills, and be dedicated to the growth and success of each student.

Our programme follows Ontario Ministry of Education standards, thus a knowledge of curriculum expectations is key. Candidates must have a sensitivity and understanding of Jewish values and religion. OCT certification a plus but not necessary.

Salary commensurate with experience.
