Salary: $55,000 – $63,000 annually, based on experience

Are YOU our JCC Inclusion Services Manager

The Manager, Inclusion Services plays a key role in ensuring that individuals of all abilities feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to participate fully in JCC programs and community life. Reporting to the Senior Director, JCC Youth & Adult Programs, the Manager provides leadership and coordination of inclusion initiatives across JCC campuses. This role focuses on building inclusive environments, supporting staff and participants, and helping ensure that programs are accessible and meaningful for children, teens, adults, and seniors with diverse needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of Inclusion Services programs and initiatives across JCC campuses
  • Promote a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals and families participating in JCC programs
  • Serve as a resource for staff and program teams on inclusion strategies, adaptive practices, and accessibility supports
  • Manage participant intake and support the development of programs that meet the needs of diverse community   members
  • Collaborate with departments including Daycare and Preschool, Centre Camp, Adult & Senior Programs, and Family Programs
  • Recruit, train, and supervise part-time inclusion staff and volunteers
  • Monitor and evaluate programming to ensure high-quality participant experiences
  • Build strong relationships with participants and families to support engagement and retention
  • Foster partnerships with community agencies, schools, and organizations that support inclusive programming
  • Assist with departmental planning, administration, and budget coordination

 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in special education, social work, recreation therapy, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with individuals with diverse abilities and special needs
  • Experience supporting or supervising staff and volunteers
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Passion for creating inclusive and welcoming community environments
  • Familiarity with Jewish life, traditions, and culture is considered an asset
