About the Opportunity

Vancouver Talmud Torah (VTT), the largest Jewish day school in Western Canada, is seeking an outstanding Head of School to lead its thriving and growing community. Serving approximately 550 students from Early Childhood through Grade 7, VTT is known for academic excellence, strong Jewish values, innovation, and an inclusive school culture. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and visionary leadership for the school. 
  • Partner closely with the Board of Directors on future planning and growth initiatives. 
  • Strengthen excellence in both general and Jewish education. 
  • Lead community engagement, fundraising, and donor relations. 
  • Foster an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners and families. 
  • Serve as a respected leader within the broader Vancouver Jewish community. 

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced educational or organizational leader. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial and operational acumen. 
  • Collaborative, relationship-oriented, and highly communicative. 
  • Proven ability to build trust, accountability, and strong teams. 
  • Fundraising and stakeholder engagement experience. 
  • Commitment to Jewish life, learning, and pluralistic Jewish education.
