Located in downtown Toronto, Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School delivers an exciting multi-disciplinary, arts-enhanced program which addresses “big ideas” and embraces a pluralistic and egalitarian approach to Judaism. Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School is currently seeking qualified general and Judaic studies teachers for all grades (SK - Grade 8).
Qualifications:
- Ontario College of Teachers Certification, (Primary/Junior and/or Intermediate qualification)
- Knowledge of and experience with the Ontario Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to address the needs of all students
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to keeping parents informed and engaged
- Proficiency with technology including iPads, Smart Boards, and typical classroom instructional and management applications
- Jewish day school experience, teaching general studies preferable
