FULL-TIME PRESCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Temple Sinai Community Preschool is a licensed, Reform Jewish school in Toronto located in the Bathurst and Wilson area. We offer a caring, loving and engaging Jewish learning environment for children ages 16 months – 4 years of age.

 

We are looking to hire fabulous teaching assistants to join our warm and vibrant team beginning August 31st, 2026 full time for the school year.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Helps provide a nurturing, stimulating, and age-appropriate program for the children.
  • Interacts positively with parents, colleagues, and students
  • Assists with keeping paperwork up to date and classroom ready
  • Ensures the safety of all children

 

Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Experience working with young children
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development
  • Current First AID/ CPR Level C Certification.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check (Original Copy), not older than 6 months.
  • Up to date immunizations and record
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • ECE or ECA an asset but not required
  • Positive, warm, dedicated, kind, and responsible

 

Job Details:

  • Full-time contract, in-person starting August 31, 2026
  • $20 to $30 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Paid sick days and holidays
