Position Overview
Are you a detail-oriented, analytical student and looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis? Are you interested in making a positive impact? Join our team at Ben-Gurion University Canada as a Data Analyst this summer! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with real data, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop valuable technical and analytical skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support data quality initiatives by validating and maintaining datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a field with a strong technical core such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Engineering Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Commerce, or equivalent
- Strong curiosity and genuine drive for learning to develop technical skills and understand organizational challenges
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset, particularly regarding testing and validation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
