Contract Grade 10 Science Teacher

Yeshiva Darchei Torah is an accredited private high school in Toronto committed to academic excellence, strong character development, and student success. We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic teachers to join our team, and specifically a teacher for a Contract Grade 10 Science position to join our General Studies faculty for the upcoming school year.
All teaching positions are part-time contract positions. The Grade 10 Science position requires availability for 3 hours per week.

Qualifications
The ideal successful candidate will possess:
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
- Knowledge of the Ontario Grade 10 Science curriculum and Ministry expectations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
The following would be considered assets:
- Previous teaching experience, ideally in a secondary school setting
- A strong understanding of effective instructional strategies that support diverse learners
- Experience implementing student-centred, interactive, and engaging learning experiences
- Ability to assess student learning, monitor progress, and provide meaningful feedback
- Professionalism and experience working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and school administration
