Role Description

 

The Co-Head of Ski role is a position that combines ski, waterfront, and in-cabin responsibilities. This role requires strong collaboration, leadership, and a commitment to safety.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Adhere to Canadian water safety regulations, laws, and camp safety requirements
  • Ensure the safety of campers and staff on the waterfront
  • Teach waterskiing, wakeboarding, and/or kneeboarding
  • Participate in and support ski training, including ski instruction, towing, driving, and safety planning
  • Schedule ski staff for daily programming
  • Operate daily ski activities and water tubing programs 
  • Ensure boats are prepared each day with fuel and safety equipment
  • Monitor camper attendance and ensure the safety of all campers 
  • Support broader waterfront initiatives and emergency procedures

 

This position begins with waterfront staff pre-camp training on June 19, 2026, and employment ends on August 14, 2026.

 

Qualifications

  • Pleasure Craft Operator Card
  • Bronze Cross certification
  • National Lifeguard and First Aid qualifications are an asset
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Experience driving ski boats and towing waterskiers, wakeboarders, kneeboarders, and/or tubing
  • Takes initiative and maintains a strong focus on safety
  • Patience and effective teaching skills 
  • Knowledge of boat maintenance is an asset
