On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, we reflect on the Jewish family, how it was fractured, transformed, and reimagined during the Holocaust, and how those experiences shape Jewish continuity today. This dynamic commemoration brings community together through survivor testimony, music, and a meaningful candle lighting ceremony.

Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum – together with Ashkenaz Foundation, the Azrieli Foundation’s Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Program, Canadian Society for Yad Vashem, Facing History & Ourselves, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center, March of the Living Canada, and the Ontario Jewish Archives – as we co-present the annual Yom Hashoah commemoration for the community.
