This powerful, funny, heartwarming and important documentary film gives kuvid to the legendary Yiddish diva, Zypora Spaisman, the woman who has kept the oldest running Yiddish Theater in America alive. The film features Zalmen Mlotek who heads the Folksbiene, the last filmed interview with Yiddish superstar Seymour Rechzeit, as well as rare footage of the Second Avenue Deli, and amazing archival footage of the Hebrew Actors Union. This is a masterpiece documentary with rare scenes that will make you both laugh and cry.
