A century ago, Mount Sinai Hospital opened its doors on Yorkville Avenue after a group of Jewish women went door-to-door, determined to raise enough money for a hospital where everyone was welcome. Their inextinguishable spirit built an institution that continues to break barriers and defy the odds every day. From the beginning, our community has been at the heart of all that we do. In celebration of our centennial year, we look forward to celebrating 100 years of life-changing care at the Mount Sinai 100 Experience: an immersive exhibit spotlighting our greatest accomplishments, the world-class institution we’ve become and our exciting future. Guests are welcome to register for a time to interact with this engaging installation as we celebrate the past and look ahead to the future.
