Restoring Tomorrow is an award-winning film that details the against-all-odds restoration of Los Angeles landmark Wilshire Boulevard Temple, which was built in 1929 by the original Hollywood moguls but, by the 21st century, was literally crumbling. In the film, the massive project becomes a dramatic and hopeful template for the restoration and reinvention of Jewish institutions everywhere. The story is told through the eyes of Canadian filmmaker Aaron Wolf who, like so many of his generation, had become disengaged from his synagogue and his faith, but in chronicling the restoration Aaron finds that he himself is restored. This inspiring story shows that when any community puts its mind to it, people can be brought back together and achieve the impossible.
