"Parenting During Crisis: supporting ourselves so that we can best support our children during this challenging time"
In the weeks after October 7th, Israel and Jewish communities around the world have experienced an unprecedented sense of upheaval. Many parents are finding it difficult to navigate our new reality as individuals and parents. This webinar will focus on reviewing the toll that the ongoing Israel-Hamas war and rising antisemitism has on parents in our community, identifying strategies to support ourselves, and reviewing best practices for supporting our children. The panel is comprised of experts in the areas of traumatic stress and child/adolescent mental health. There will also be time for Q & A.
‘Parenting During Crisis’ will be an opportunity for parents to come together as a community, help to normalize our collective and individual experiences, and gain the tools to support ourselves so that we can better support our children.
