Learn Talmud with Reb Steve

Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom

One of Judaism’s greatest strengths is its affinity for diverse opinions and the debate, for the “sake of Heaven” to implement God’s will in our lives. The Talmud is the source from which this affinity for debate and the code of Jewish halakhah (law) is derived. In our lessons, we will focus on Masekhet Megillah, Purim and all that concerns Esther HaMalka.

For many, the study of Talmud can seem overwhelming. We will learn at a slow and deliberate pace, sequentially studying a single page of Talmud throughout the week. (Beginners are welcome.)

Get ready to dive into a space of meaning, where the words, sentences and stories create a profound, meaningful and valuable Jewish learning experience on a personal level.
