From tradition to innovation -- Where is Jewish orchestral music today?  Come and find out at this enlightening and thought-provoking discussion with a panel of leading Canadian musicians and musicologists. These experts will share their thoughts and opinions about Jewish orchestral music, from Mahler and Mendelssohn to the newest generation of Millennial Composers!

The Azrieli Music Project (AMP), a new initiative under the auspices of the Azrieli Foundation, celebrates, fosters and creates opportunities for performance of high quality new orchestral Jewish music. The AMP has recently launched two new $50,000 prizes for new Jewish orchestral music.
