Jinks Hoffmann, a retired psychotherapist and active spiritual director will be talking about her perspective on the sacred, her belief that "it's all God, anyway," as her book of poetry offers. Her reverent and irreverent poems, rooted in ordinary life, are readily accessible. They are simple stories of how Jinks listens for the hidden dimension of existence revealed in demanding neighbours, dinner with loved ones, impatient mothers, suffering and joy. Jinks will read from her book, as well as talk and listen about the practice of writing, and about how much juice having any creative practice adds to life.
