Beth Tzedec will break new musical ground with a gala concert, marking the first time that members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra will grace our majestic Sanctuary, accompanying the world-renowned singing of our very own Senior Cantor, Chaim Stern. These 28 talented orchestral musicians will be conducted by distinguished composer and conductor Tomer Adaddi, known for his unique blend of classical and contemporary music. Joining the concert are special guests Cantor Gideon Zelermyer of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim (Montreal) and Cantor Rachel Brook of Anshe Emet Synagogue (Chicago).
The program will range from Broadway showstoppers and beloved Israeli and international classics to Cantorial masterpieces.
This evening of music marks Cantor Stern's first anniversary as Beth Tzedec's Hennick Family Senior Cantor, during which we’ll enjoy the opportunity to celebrate his 30th birthday together.
Enjoy a musical journey through Cantor Stern’s own story—from the melodies of Jerusalem to the sounds of Toronto, and every stop in between.
Tickets on sale now: $65 and $115.
