A workshop with Akilah Allen-Silverstein
Registration to come!
What’s the difference between a T4A and a T4? Do I have enough money to buy that new camera? What do I with my receipts?
This workshop offers an overview of financial management for artists and creatives. It will help you develop skills in financial planning, accounting, as well as systems that will help drive your creative business so you can focus more on creating, while staying on budget.
Participants will learn about:
Tools to help maintain your finances
Project accounting – how to set and manage a budget
Bookkeeping tips and self-employment
CRA basics and what to think about for tax time
Financial planning for the future
This workshop is ideal for artists, creatives, and cultural workers. We’ll also have time set aside for schmoozing so you can connect with fellow Jewish creatives.
Free, registration required. Registration to come soon!
Light refreshments will be served. Kashrut observed.
